Article 1 (Purpose)
Article 2 (Payment Methods)
The Service offers three payment methods:
- Single Reading Payment — Pay a fixed price per reading. The reading is generated immediately upon payment.
- Subscription — Choose Weekly / Monthly / Yearly. A set amount of Mora is automatically credited each day.
- Mora Package — Subscribers may purchase additional Mora as a one-time top-up.
Payment Channels
- International (USD): Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record)
- Korea, single payment (KRW): Kakao Pay or Toss Payments
- Korea, subscription (KRW): Toss Payments (recurring billing key)

Article 3 (Refund Principle — Non-Refundable)
All payments for the Hermora service are non-refundable as a general rule.
The Service is digital content for which the LLM generates and delivers analyses or chat responses immediately upon payment. Pursuant to Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the right of withdrawal is restricted. This applies equally to Single Reading Payments, Subscriptions, and Mora Packages.
Article 4 (Statutory Exceptions Where Refund Is Granted)
Notwithstanding the no-refund rule in Article 3, refunds are granted in the following cases under applicable law:
- The reading or chat response was not generated or delivered properly due to a system error on the Company's side.
- The same payment was charged more than once.
- A minor made the payment without the consent of a legal guardian.
- Any other case in which a refund is mandated by applicable law.
If a reading is not generated due to a system error on the Company's side, the Company will automatically issue a Mora refund transaction without requiring a separate request. For other cases, please follow the procedure in Article 8.
Article 5 (Subscription — Cancellation of Future Charges)
Subscription payments are non-refundable. However, if you cancel before your next billing date, future charges will be stopped.
After cancellation, the following remain in effect:
- Access for the billing period already paid
- Mora already credited (until the expiration date specified in Article 6)
Article 6 (Mora Expiration)
Mora credited through a subscription expires on the following schedule. Unused Mora is forfeited:
- Weekly subscription: unused Mora expires each week
- Monthly subscription: unused Mora expires each month
- Yearly subscription: unused Mora expires each year
Expired Mora is not eligible for any refund.
Article 7 (How to Cancel a Subscription)
You may cancel your subscription directly on the Plans page. If you cancel before your next billing date, future charges will be stopped. Your access for the billing period already paid and any Mora already credited will remain available.
Article 8 (How to Request a Statutory Refund)
If you wish to request a refund under one of the cases listed in Article 4, please email us:

Article 9 (Refund Processing Time)
- We will respond with a decision on your refund request within 3–5 business days of receipt.
- Once approved, the refund is processed within 3–7 business days, depending on the payment method.
- Credit-card refunds may take slightly longer based on the issuing bank's processing schedule.
Article 10 (Refund Channels by Payment Method)
- International (USD) Payments — Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). You may submit a request through the refund instructions on your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or by emailing the Company directly.
- Korean (KRW) Payments — The Company processes refunds directly through Toss Payments or Kakao Pay.
Article 11 (Refund Method Restrictions)
Article 12 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
- Any lawsuit between the Company and a member arising from a refund-related dispute shall be brought in the Suwon District Court of the Republic of Korea.
- This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Article 13 (Miscellaneous)
- This Refund Policy applies within the scope of applicable laws.
- The Company may amend this policy as service operations require; any amendment will be announced in advance.
- Matters not specified in this policy are governed by the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. and related laws.
