Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and its members, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of the Hermora service (the “Service”) provided by ChartIQ (the “Company”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:

  1. “Service” means all services provided by the Company, including tarot/astrology readings and AI chat.
  2. “Member” means a person who has agreed to these Terms and entered into a service agreement with the Company.
  3. “Single Reading Payment” means the payment method in which a member pays a fixed price per reading and immediately receives the result.
  4. “Subscription” means the payment method in which a member subscribes on a Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly basis and is automatically credited a set amount of Mora each day.
  5. “Mora Package Payment” means a one-time top-up of additional Mora available to subscribed members.
  6. “Mora” means a service-only virtual asset issued by the Company. Mora is not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for cash. The expiration policy for Mora is set out on the Refund Policy page.
  7. “Content” means all information provided through the Service, including reading results and chat responses.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

  1. The Company posts these Terms on the initial service screen so that members can readily access them.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of applicable laws.
  3. When the Company amends these Terms, the effective date and reason for the amendment will be posted alongside the current Terms on the initial service screen, at least 7 days before the effective date. For amendments that are unfavorable to members, the notice period will be at least 30 days.
  4. If a member does not agree to the amended Terms, the member may request to withdraw membership. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the amendment is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)

  1. The service agreement is formed when a person wishing to become a member agrees to these Terms, applies for membership, and the Company accepts the application.
  2. The Company may refuse an application or terminate an agreement after the fact in any of the following cases:
    • The applicant uses a name that is not their real name or that belongs to another person.
    • The application contains false information or omits required information.
    • The applicant has previously had their membership terminated, or fewer than 30 days have passed since their last withdrawal.
    • The applicant has created multiple accounts in order to fraudulently obtain benefits offered by the Company, such as new-member discounts.
    • The application does not meet other requirements established by the Company.

Article 5 (Changes to Member Information)

Members may view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management screen. If the information provided at signup changes, members must update it online or notify the Company by email or another suitable means.

Article 6 (Member Obligations)

Members shall not engage in any of the following:

  1. Registering false information at signup or when updating their information.
  2. Misappropriating the information of others.
  3. Altering information posted by the Company.
  4. Sending or posting information (such as computer programs) other than what the Company specifies.
  5. Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
  6. Damaging the reputation or interfering with the operations of the Company or third parties.
  7. Publishing or posting obscene, violent, or otherwise indecent messages, images, audio, or other content on the Service.
  8. Reproducing, distributing, promoting, or commercially exploiting information obtained through the Service without the Company's prior consent.
  9. Repeatedly obtaining one-time benefits offered by the Company, such as new-member first-purchase discounts, by improper means including multiple accounts.
  10. Any other illegal or improper conduct.

Article 7 (Provision of the Service)

  1. The Company provides members with the following services:
    • Tarot readings (single-card, spreads, etc.)
    • Astrology readings (birth chart, transits, etc.)
    • AI Chat — real-time conversation with AI readers tuned to different domains (love, family, career, health, etc.). Members may use this for follow-up questions on a reading result or for independent questions.
    • Any other services that the Company develops or provides through partnerships.
  2. The Service is provided 24 hours a day, year-round, in principle.
  3. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, replacement, or repair of computer or telecommunications equipment, communication outages, or other significant operational reasons.

Article 8 (Modification and Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may modify the Service for operational or technical reasons when justified.
  2. The Company may carry out scheduled maintenance as needed for the operation of the Service. Scheduled maintenance windows will follow the notice posted on the service screen.

Article 9 (Payment and Usage)

The Service offers three payment methods:

  1. Single Reading Payment — Pay per reading. The reading is generated immediately upon payment.
  2. Subscription — Choose Weekly / Monthly / Yearly. A set amount of Mora is automatically credited each day.
  3. Mora Package Payment — Subscribers may purchase additional Mora as a one-time top-up.

Payment Channels

  • International (USD): Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record)
  • Korea, single payment (KRW): Kakao Pay or Toss Payments
  • Korea, subscription (KRW): Toss Payments (recurring billing key)

Displayed prices include value-added tax (VAT). For specific pricing, including new-member discounts, please refer to the Plans page.

Mora credited through a subscription expires at the end of each billing period; unused Mora is forfeited and not refundable. For the detailed expiration policy, see Article 6 of the Refund Policy page.

The Company may change pricing and policies and will give notice at least 7 days before the effective date. Payments already made are charged at the previous price.

Article 10 (Refund Policy)

All payments for the Hermora service are non-refundable as a general rule. Because the Service is digital content consumed immediately upon payment, the right of withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.

Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. The copyright and intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Company.
  2. Members shall not, without the Company's prior consent, reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes, nor allow third parties to do so.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is exempt from liability for the provision of the Service when force majeure—such as natural disasters, war, or service outages by telecommunications carriers—prevents the Company from providing the Service.
  2. The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to the member.
  3. The Company does not warrant the accuracy or reliability of reading results or AI chat responses delivered through the Service, and is not liable for any decisions or actions taken by members based on them.
  4. The Service is provided for entertainment and reference purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, legal, or financial advice.

Article 13 (Subscription Cancellation, Account Withdrawal, and Usage Restrictions)

Subscription Cancellation

Members may cancel their subscription directly on the Plans page before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges; access for the billing period already paid and Mora already credited remain available.

Account Withdrawal

Members may apply for account withdrawal on My Page. The Company will complete the withdrawal within 3 business days of receiving the request.

  1. Upon withdrawal, the member's personal information is destroyed immediately. However, payment and refund records that the Company is required by law to retain will be kept separately for the legally mandated retention period.
  2. After withdrawal, the same account cannot be re-registered for 30 days (to prevent fraudulent use).
  3. Under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and related laws, a member may request deletion of their personal information; the Company will process such requests without delay.

Usage Restrictions

If a member violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may, after prior notice, terminate the agreement or restrict the member's use of the Service.

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The Company operates a customer support channel (hermora.tarot@gmail.com) to address legitimate opinions or complaints raised by members and to provide remedies.
  2. Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary commercial practice.

Article 15 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

  1. Any lawsuit arising from a dispute between the Company and a member shall be brought in the Suwon District Court of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits between the Company and members are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Effective Date

These Terms take effect on January 20, 2026.
